About Mario Imberti

In the last 16 years, I have been working in the oil & gas industry, primarily on projects involving reciprocating compressor applications. Throughout this time, I have taken on increasing responsibilities and expanded my engineering scope. I began my career as a Project Engineer and later transitioned to the Sales Department, where I gained significant experience in commercial negotiation, budget management, and cost control. As a Proposal Engineering Manager, I coordinated a skilled proposal team in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring successful outcomes and meeting targets. These experiences have taught me the methods and discipline needed to bridge the gap between sales and engineering while adhering to the company's financial parameters. I have also developed strong competencies in Design Thinking, a methodology that emphasizes user-centric problem-solving and innovation. This approach has enabled me to create effective solutions by understanding user needs, prototyping, and iterating based on feedback. My experience with Design Thinking has been instrumental in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation within my teams. Additionally, I have expertise in mass customization, which involves producing highly individualized products and services at costs close to those of mass production. This approach allows for greater flexibility in meeting specific customer needs while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness. My work in mass customization has included developing tailored solutions and implementing processes that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance. Personally, I am dedicated to continuous improvement, learning from past mistakes to enhance future results.
