I worked at the Municipal Opera of Saint Louis (The Muny) as an usher and as a former performer in the onstage productions. Throughout my years at the Muny, being both on the inside and outside of the mechanisms of the theatre itself has prepared me for the business world. Through working as an usher, I have been trained extensively in customer service from helping patrons to their seats to ensuring the safety of all patrons in the theatre. Through working as a performer, I have learned the workings of the performance world that is imperative to learn if I am to be a performer in today's world. I have worked at Starbucks Corporation as a shift supervisor. I am also in charge of placing and receiving inventory orders, deploying baristas on the floor in order to best fit business needs, and to ensure the best possible experience for every customer. I currently work as the Front Desk Coordinator for Philip Johnson Salon/Spa, which is an Aveda concept salon. I perform office administration work through data entry of our client's private information, running of day-to-day sales and service reports, and daily sales tracking. I also schedule client appointments, check in and check out clients, and provide assistance throughout the salon and spa.
