About Mario Monroy

My most notable position was at Calistoga Ranch, an Auberge Resort, in Napa Valley where I was recruited to provide exceptional services to guests and proactively looked to enhance their stay while on property by managing reservations for restaurants, events, wineries, and more. I also managed and coordinated reservations for incoming guests for events on property such as weddings and health and wellness campaigns up to 200 people. I initially worked as a Bellman/Valet and quickly became involved in other departments including room service, hotel operator, and night security. In addition to working, I went to school to pay my own tuition to avoid pulling out loans. I quickly became a dependent employee, putting in overtime, training new staff, and became indispensable to the front of the house. I demonstrated strong work ethic, professionalism, dependability, and leadership in my department, all while maintaining a positive attitude. I continued to blossom my leadership skills at the Heritage Inn Express where I led, trained, and directed housekeeping staff, as well as front desk staff.
