About Mario Mosca

I am a procurement, material and logistic business process reengineering expert with more than 24 years’ experience. Since October 2018 I became a chapter leader of Global Procurement Digital Hub with the mission of to optimize procurement processes and to design, develop and implement digital solutions together with all the involved business units applying agile methodology. I started my involvement in the Global procurement transformation project first as Project Manager of “lean planning process” stream and since May 2018 as “Product Owner” of the agile room to develop the new Enel Group Smart Planning Tool, live from the second week of September, for more than 2600 business lines and procurement colleagues. With the new lean process and tool developed on Saas platform, we reached in 2019 the target of 80% of planned contracts! From Jan 2015 to Sep 2018, I was the head of Materials, Equipment and Logistic unit within Global Infrastructure and Networks function of Enel Group, managing the relevant activities across 8 countries with 19 main logistic warehouse and more than 700M€ of working capital value. Focused to manage local business needs consolidation and optimization for global materials and equipment needs and sharing the approved and optimized needs plan to Global Procurement. From Nov 2012 until Dic 2014, within Global Procurement function, I was the head of Suppliers Scouting, Development and Global Sourcing LCC unit with the mission to identify, scout and develop suppliers on a worldwide scale. The Unit was also in charge of managing Beijing and Shanghai offices. I joined Enel group in April 2008 as Head of Procurement Processes and Systems Business Unit until Nov 2011 when I was involved in two of main important Enel Group project first in ICT function and then in Global procurement one. Before joining ENEL group, I was a project leader consultant in KPMG from Jun mainly working in re-engineering process and system integration projects implementing SAP R/3 suite solutions in different industries. I speak English and Spanish and I am used to work in international contexts.
