In line of my main duty as as Field Security Coordination and Liaison Officer in UNDSS, and previously as CP coordinator and alternate/additional function as Chief Security Officer a.i I am operationally and administratively responsible for staff assigned in my Unit and/or in UN Security Section. I prepare duty rosters and leave plans, assist the Analysis unit in providing information for the PSRA (personal security risk assessment) for Senior UN Official, SRA (Security Risk Assessment) for facilities, routes and planned events. I draft and prepare rapid threat and risk assessment, draft SOPs and specific operational plans, identification of requirements. Further I support in drafting area security plans and review / maintain evaluation of land and air evacuation routes/plans. I am tasked of maintaining safe & secure environment for all VIP's, UN personnel within UN Mission area. Delegate CP/ SLO tasks and resources to enhance staff safety and security. I coordinate, supervise and execute close protection operations for UN principals and for visiting Senior UN Officials, and I prepare drafts of security plans for the missions and premisses. I have vast experience in dealing with explosives, weapons and medical training. For two years I was a part of the Security Training Unit in Baghdad. Therefore, part of my job is teaching others about threats that come from EID's, UXO's and remnants of war. Also I teach searching vehicles for foreign objects, in particular explosives devices, and how to recognize it. Due to my vast experience from weapons side of my previous work, I produce, teach, and conduct trainings and assessments on Security officers and staff members in many fields, including tactics. Lastly, I am delivering training in medical field related to trauma, IFAK and medical procedures in the field. My UN experience in the Middle East and Balkans has enabled me to gain practical experience in security coordination, as well as in-depth knowledge of field operations, mission structures and security management system. These skills allow me to effectively coordinate cross-cutting substantive and operational issues and deal with sensitive and high-profile matters in a tactful manner. I possess excellent communication skills and ability to produce strategic analytical reports. I believe that my broad experience can be utilised in your organization.
