My journey is driven by a passion for empowering others through innovative problem-solving and collaborative ideation. I bring experience as a systems engineer, teacher and entrepreneur. I’m committed to expanding my skill set to meet new challenges and to offer solutions that inspire and My journey has involved countless personal projects and a time as a systems engineer, where I managed projects specifications and verification for a software-intensive project. I have a gift for troubleshooting and understanding the big picture. I taught Physics, Engineering, and Algebra 2 at Cristo Rey Richmond High School, where I empowered students with diverse stories to pursue opportunities in the STEM fields. I practiced critical thinking and problem solving with my students, which opened new doors for me. I learned what it meant to be human. I learned about who I truly am but more importantly I saw a humanity in others that drives me to create or redesign systems for the empowerment of people who look like me. I am constantly expanding my skillset as a student to develop solutions that removes barriers of accessibility for creators. Over the last few years, I have been prototyping for the problem of access. I have dedicated my time to immersive learning and application of 3D modeling, printing, and prototyping. I am committed to personal and professional growth, and I actively seek ways to improve myself and help others. I believe in the power of the crowd and I am dedicated to using my skills to create a better world, along with some amazing people.
