About Maris Vasenius
A neuroscience master’s student at University of Helsinki. My specific field of interest is forensic neuroscience and psychology, criminology and criminal behaviour including the study of personality disorders. I hope to discover this field more either in industry or academia. I graduated as a bachelor of science with honors in Neuroscience and psychology from University of Aberdeen in 2021. I wrote my bachelor's thesis on Barriers of Optimal Pain Treatment in Refugees and Survivors of Torture. I can describe myself as an analytical big picture thinker who finds creative but practical solutions even for the trickiest problems. I work well both in a team and independently.
