About Marisa Cheatum

I'm a content designer with 7+ years of experience in UX. For most of those years, I've helped design B2B products or products with confusing subject matter. And I love it. I truly believe that complexity doesn't have to mean "boring." And enterprise doesn't have to feel "enterprise-y." As a content designer, I bring clarity, creativity, and empathy to every design. Whether on a content design team of one or many, I thrive in any space that fosters close collaboration, effective feedback, and open communication. In fact, I've been told that my UX superpower is collaboration, and that's an honor I hold near and dear to my heart. I can effectively navigate ambiguity (hello, opportunity!), and can align cross-functional teams to get everyone excited to move forward together. As a content designer, I love to zoom out to see the bigger picture and product strategy, and then zoom in to work on the nitty-gritty design details in Figma.
