A seasoned professional Premiere Pro editor, Marisa has a wealth of experience including work on children’s and teen’s series; current affairs and documentaries; health and lifestyle series; commercials and other marketing promotional videos. As an accredited media professional, Marisa is confident in bringing new perspectives and ideas to every project. Respecting the history and depth of the journey that brings the footage before her, Marisa is quick to listen, collaborate, and honour the story. Driven by curiosity, Marisa is a lifelong learner mastering latest technologies and adapting new creative styles. Her love of learning has her guest lecturing at Sault College, mentoring other editors through WIFT, and training colleagues. In life beyond the film and television industry, Marisa is passionate about volunteering more than 800 hours at Humber River Hospital. Recreationally, she enjoys ball hockey and pickleball. and is very enthusiastic about all that is beer, having earned her Beer Sommelier certification.
