About Marisa Rossini

Dr. Marisa Rossini, B.Sc.(Hons), O.D, has 29 years of clinical experience, specializing in ocular disease management and surgical co-management, with a special interest in paediatrics. She graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 1989, after earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Western Ontario. In 1991, Dr. Rossini completed a one-year Family Practice Optometry Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Optometry. She shared her passion for exemplary patient care as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry for seven years and was recognized by her students with the Distinguished Clinical Associate Award for 1992-1993. Dr. Rossini is passionate about helping her patients lead their healthiest lives. She complements her practice with a holistic approach to patient care by looking at overall health conditions and lifestyle. Dr. Rossini stays current on new treatments and diagnostics to provide state-of-the-art ocular disease management and has recently expanded her practice to include new diagnostic instrumentation and the dispensing of eye glasses and contact lenses.
