About Marisa Stackpoole

Hello! I am a registered Professional Counselor Associate at FourEight Transitions Mental Health Counseling in Ashland, Oregon. I have a passion for collaboratively working with people in my community to achieve their mental health goals. My past life experiences and education have allowed me to grow through challenges and serve my clients with a holistic approach, attentive to root causes. With a person-centered foundation I am aware each client is unique and deserves an individually tailored treatment plan to fit their needs. I enjoy getting to know each client by creating a safe space to express and process experiences their own pace. When therapeutically appropriate I utilize evidence-based modalities to increase self-awareness, autonomy and lasting change. I also value working with diverse populations and applying a multi-cultural lens during the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD, etc. With a history of being a yoga instructor, musician and creative individual, I naturally can integrate mindfulness approaches, art therapy modalities and sound into my sessions if clients would like to experience non-traditional therapeutic modalities.
