About Mariselvan Pragadeeswaran

Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in Vibrations, Acoustics, & Product development, currently PGET at Envision Energy India. Certified in Vibration Analysis (Basics and Advanced) at Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, Bangalore - an equivalent to ISO 18436 standard. With a problem-solving mindset, I have handled multiple projects worth exceeding 1.5 crore INR, from developing vibration suppression solutions to designing cutting-edge products. Particularly, my work has led to the achievement of 2 patents (one for the in-process inspection apparatus and another one for the active damped cutting tool holders) and has provided me with the opportunity to present at multiple international conferences. I have deep expertise in both passive and active vibration suppression technologies with a strong theoretical and experimental background. To support my work, I have skills in commercial software and programming tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Matlab, Python, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ModeFrontier (a dedicated optimisation software tool), Arduino IDE, and MS Office. Additionally, I am skilled practically in experimental modal and vibration analysis (using CUTPRO - Commercial dynamic testing software) with exposure to structural dynamic testing using multiple industry-level sensors, modal shakers, and various data acquisition instruments. Furthermore, I have experience conducting acoustics testing and simulations (using I-Simpa) for machinery, architectural and industrial spaces to assess acoustics quality, predict sound characteristics, and improve acoustical performance. With dedicated teamwork and an inventive approach, I have executed various projects on schedule, receiving multiple applauses from my supervisor.
