About Marisol Borbon
After 7-years in finance, navigating through various roles in different corporate settings, I decided to shake things up and embark on a new adventure in Germany. It was there where I had a transformative experience through a CAS in Global Social Entrepreneurship offered between BOOKBRIDGE and the University of Basel. This action-learning program made me realised that I wanted to be a social entrepreneur. With my financial acumen and a heart for social impact, I joined BOOKBRIDGE and have continued to develop as a social entrepreneur. Besides leading the organization, I have worked closely with partners to co-create customs programs in which participants learn, grow and create impact. Since 2012, more than leaders have participated in BOOKBRIDGE's action learning programs, co-creating 123 social enterprises in 16 countries.
