About Marissa Braddy

Marissa moved to Orlando in 2015 from Chicago, Illinois where she received her degree in Accounting after graduating from DePaul University. She began as a returning tax staff accountant in Deerfield, Illinois, however decided to try an audit position in downtown Chicago, in which she was quickly promoted to Audit Senior. She spent her time consulting with management of Not-For-Profit Organizations consisting of Employer-Sponsored Benefit plans, labor unions, and public universities with accounting, procedural, and tax issues. Following her passion for tax, Marissa continued in a Senior Tax position where she focused on tax preparation, reviews and compilations, as well as tax planning and guidance for a variety of industries including professional, medical, service, and a large construction-related client base. Marissa received her license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2013 and maintains her credentials with continued professional education. Most recently, she continues development of her multi-faceted accounting and tax view with preparation and review of State and Federal tax filings for Individuals, Corporate and Partnership entities, as well as Trusts and Estates. She adds valuable experience with tax planning and tax projects with the rest of the team. Marissa supports the Kuberneo team with proficiency in: Personal Tax Preparation Corporate Tax Preparation Not-For-Profit Tax Preparation New Entity Set-Up Tax Planning Marissa grew up in the Northwest Suburbs along the outskirts of Chicago and moved to Florida with her Orlando-native husband after he finished out his term in the military in 2015. She enjoys spending downtime with family and friends while being out in the warm weather. Marissa also enjoys challenging sports, has a passion for volleyball and playing golf.
