About Marissa Edelman

5 years working with children both in the employment and volunteer setting. Volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America in both a leadership position and a teaching position. As a den leader, I am given the opportunity to help boys learn good citizenship and to help shape them into young men who have strength of character and are sensitive to the needs of others. I also serve as the Boy Scout troop Fundraiser Chair, doing community outreach to help the youth earn money to pay for exciting leadership camps and clinics that will help teach useful life skills. I have over 10 years of office experience ranging from customer service to accounting and have worked within many different fields (construction, manufacturing, distribution, etc.). While attending The University of California, Riverside, I participating in research and data collection and worked within Residential Services as a Resident Advisor assisting current student residents with finding access to current opportunities on campus.
