About Marissa Lichwick

As a screenwriter and actor, I have over ten years of experience in creating and performing original and adapted scripts for film, television, and theatre. I am passionate about storytelling, character development, and social commentary, and I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams of writers, directors, producers, and actors. I have an MFA in Acting from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Screenwriting and Television Writing from UCLA, where I honed my skills in various genres, formats, and styles of writing and acting. I have also developed my abilities in improvisation, voice overs, stage combat, and martial arts, which enhance my versatility and range as a performer. Currently, I am a screenwriter and actor at my own Film Production Company YD Production LLC and am repped by FireStarter Entertainment, where I collaborate with industry professionals on exciting and innovative projects. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor and faculty member at Chicago City College, where I teach and mentor aspiring actors and humans.
