About Marissa Lopez

As a payroll analyst II at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), I apply my data analysis, accounting, and payroll processing skills to manage timekeeping and accruals for employees across the organization. I have been working in this role since January 2022, after gaining 3.5 years of experience as a payroll technician at Val Verde Unified School District. In my current role, I oversee all time sheets and provide issue resolution for any time sheet-related problems. I also manage a ticketing system queue of incoming questions, accrual issues, and adjustments. I communicate effectively with different departments and groups, and follow up with them for information to provide timely and accurate solutions. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team that supports the mission and vision of UCSF, and I strive to contribute to the efficiency and quality of the payroll services. I am always eager to learn new skills and tools that can enhance my performance and add value to the organization.
