About Marissa Pierce

I have over fifteen years combined experience in the areas of public relations and marketing. This includes experience in the entertainment, financial, sports, and hospitality industries in marketing, public relations, journalism, and event planning. Experience in all of these areas has afforded me the opportunity to gain well rounded and eclectic knowledge/experiences that would be beneficial to a number of companies and organizations. I was named the Young Professional Leader by the Flint and Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce at the 2014 Art of Achievement Awards.I have a demonstrated ability to think creatively within my designated budget while working on events/projects ranging in plus, with attendance from 150 - participants. I possess exceptional organizational skills, which allow me to get the necessary task done in a timely and professional manner. I also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which includes outstanding oral and written proficiency. I am a creative individual, that works well independently and with the team; bringing fresh and new ideas to the table.
