About Marissa Thunstrom

I have worked in an office setting for 5 years, I have been working within UnitedHealth Care for 4 years now. I have expertise in health insurance from different aspects. I have worked in 3 different departments in health care. I have done data entry for insurance claims, member updates for members in internal systems, and I currently work on disenrolling and reinstating members plans. I am graduated from the Business Management program at Chippewa Valley Technical College (Associate Degree), to further my career within UnitedHealth Care or similar office work environments. I take interest specifically in being a manager, but I also have interests in human resources and marketing. I enjoy working on the computer daily, this is because I have proficient skills working with computers and multiple computer programs. Including all Microsoft programs along with internal company systems. I am a fast learner and a hard worker, so when learning how to use new computer programs I catch on and know how to use it properly and efficiently very quickly. I am also a very organized person. I enjoy scheduling my daily schedules and assisting in scheduling other people's schedules as best as I can. I keep my work station, calendars, and computer files/systems organized so that things are easier to find, resulting in a more efficient day. However, I am very flexible and I can think quick on my feet. If something comes up last minute I am still willing to do it and take on the task. I enjoy being organized, but my schedule will always be flexible for urgent matters that may come up in the work day.
