About Marite Guevara

I have developed my professional career in the fields of communication and education, primarily in Europe. My profile encompasses various areas, including the development of strategies and educational methodologies based on active learning, the organization of citizen participation workshops, and the design of communication and dissemination strategies to promote scientific and humanistic knowledge. I am also a PNL (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Coach, and my passion lies in supporting individuals and groups in processes of personal, professional, relational change, and project development. During the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity to successfully lead the Ersilia Foundation, where I promote a culture of active and collaborative learning to address global and local challenges. This experience has provided me with extensive expertise in guiding groups through social and environmental challenges. I recognize the significance of personal transformation as a driving force for change and firmly believe that, by transforming ourselves, we can effectively influence others. In this regard, I facilitate training workshops that nurture the internal capacities needed to adapt to an increasingly complex environment and face challenges with resilience and adaptability. I have excelled as a multimedia editor, leveraging my expertise to create compelling educational resources and communication strategies. I have successfully led the dissemination efforts for European research and innovation projects such as BENCHMARKS (HEU), REBALANCE (H2020) and have been instrumental in the interdisciplinary training and communication of the UrbanShift (Erasmus+), BuildSolutions (Erasmus+), KAAU (Erasmus+), INTREPID Cost Action, RELOCAL (H2020), and ET2050 (ESPON) initiatives. Additionally, I possess a strong background in the development and management of R&D+i proposals both at the local and European levels, which has allowed me to gain a more executive and strategic perspective in my work. I'm a member of local and international networks working in the field of sustainability, such as Barcelona Sostenible.
