Hola! My name is Maritza. I was born in California and raised in the Lonestar state of Texas. 🤠 I pursued my Bachelors degree in Journalism through the Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas, concentrating in strategic communication. I am passionate about analytics, media trends, and content creation to drive metrics and results. With my former internship at Margin Walker, I used trend savviness to engage with fans on Twitter and Instagram to promote artists, build recognition, and increase ticket sales. At Vega Pools, I practice my communication skills within a small business setting. In my free time, I use my skills to organize and promote events in my local community, play Minecraft, and sing in my band. If it involves being impactful, creative, and challenging, I'm all for it!
