About Marius Alsaker

Im currently working as an project engineer in OneSubsea and I have 4 years experience in the oil and gas industry, specialized in Subsea equipment. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Høgskulen på Vestlandet (HVL) dep Bergen. In my 5th semester I went on exchange to Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. Furthermore i have a masters degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from Universitetet i Agder (UIA). The interdisciplinary combination of technical, economic, management and leadership experience I have obtained, makes me well suited for projects in the interface between business and technology. For my Bachelor thesis about «Detection of cavitation in pumps» which I wrote for FRAMO Flatøy, I obtained the Lehmkuhl price ("går til studenter som viser særlige evner som kan fremme norsk næringsliv, og som har lagt ned en særskilt innsats på et felt av praktisk betydning i næringslivssammenheng.")
