About Marius-Andrei Boca

My professional experience started in 2017 in the regulatory compliance services field, as a technical illustrator, providing assessments for companies that work in potentially explosive atmospheres. Subsequently, still within the same company I became a design engineer and customer service representative. In 2020, I switched the domain and started to work as a research assistant in the academic sector, focusing on the development of two different medical devices. In order to fulfil the customer's requirements, for both projects, the R&D activities included the establishment of a virtual model and its iterative improvement using FEM software, prototyping using additive manufacturing, selecting optimal materials, performing a variety of tests, etc. In the same faculty, during approx. 4 years and 6 months, as a laboratory assistant, I performed various tasks dedicated to the research of polymeric materials. Professional and personal development also included 10 years of university studies. This started with the bachelor's cycle in 2013 (in the field of industrial engineering) and ended with the doctoral degree.
