About Marius Cernescu

My name is Marius and here are a few things about me: Technology and computers always fascinated me. I was that kid who would disassemble my first computer just to find out how all the pieces work together. Also debugging OS related problems and fixing all my friends PC's was my part-time job as a kid. But somehow, I never got into learning how to code. Until September 2020. After many years of living abroad, I found myself back in Romania after my international travel plans got cancelled because of the pandemic. I took this as a chance to build a new career path and enrolled in a beginner web development course. A few days later I was hooked and committed to the #100DaysOfCode challenge on Twitter. Using the Harvard X CS50 course as a stepping stone I started to build my knowledge. I've been coding every day since and I’m currently working as a Full Stack Developer for Ensemble Romania since March 2021. My experience includes C#.NET, Angular, AWS, and Bamboo just to name a few. In my personal projects, I try to use different technologies and I always like to learn new things and keep up to date with the latest tech. Most of my work experience is based in AWS, building micro-services and Server-less applications from scratch but also working on legacy systems.
