About Marius Dumitrescu

Marius Dumitrescu has a degree in Political Science, a master's degree in Marketing and over 18 years of experience in implementing and managing medical and pharmaceutical software solutions. Since 2018, he is the President of the Romanian Association of Privacy and Data Protection Specialists (ASCPD) and IAPP Member. He graduated in 2018 his long-term postgraduate studies on data protection at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Administration - Center for Data Protection from Tîrgu-Mureș, Romania. Since 2018 he is the Managing Partner and Data Management and Compliance Solutions Specialist at NeoPrivacy Romania with a PECB DPO Certification. He is the editorial director of two online publications, one for professionals in the field of protection and security of personal data and another one addressed to the medical and pharmaceutical community in Romania He is author and co-author of numerous articles published in the Romanian Magazine for the Security and Protection of Personal Data, Curierul Judiciar, juridice.ro. He is a PECB Certified trainer and lecturer, participating at several educational sessions with topics on data protection, data security, ISO standards and organizational management. He is actively involved in organizing national and international conferences on data protection, pharmacoeconomics and health management.
