About Marja Siitonen

I'm a master of international business, looking for my dream job in the field of marketing and communications. I am currently working as a marketing and communications trainee in Nurmijärven Kodit Oy, where I am developing my skills in marketing and communications. My previous position was in customer service where I enjoyed being able to provide the customers with the best possible service experience. I was a part of a small service ambassador team, where I got to share my passion for customer service with my coworkers and help improve and develop customer service in my workplace. I was also a part of the customer service team in our online store ya.fi. This part of my job required problem solving skills and excellent written communication skills. The work got hectic at times and good time management was a skill required in this work, as was the ability to endure stress. I also have work experience from consulting from working as a trainee for Finpro, now known as business Finland. In my work I helped comanies in various aspects of internationalisation. I helped companies find local partners, conducted market research and helped organize events. I also prepared internal and external material for presentations and memos, and updated a website. In future my goal is to find my place in the field of marketing, communications and media. I'm fascinated by advertisements and the use of social media in business, and I am continuously developing my skills in these areas.
