About Marjan M.

Supply Chain and MP & L Professional | Tech Innovation with Global Logistics Expertise My journey was a bit unusual. I started in the world of circuits and signals in my technical studies, but life had other plans. Financial realities prompted a pause in my education, and I traded my textbooks for warehouse pallets. Became a supervisor and discovered that logistics is just problem solving on a larger scale. Then came Baghdad. Young, adventurous, probably a little reckless, I stepped into a Material Control Specialist role. Those high stakes experiences sharpened my crisis management skills and reshaped my perspective in ways no classroom ever could. Overwhelming, eye-opening and unforgettable in ways I'm still unpacking. Returning closer to home, finally got that degree. Along the way, I opened an internet cafe to reconnect with my tech roots and even worked with UNICEF in Macedonia, where technology and social impact came together. Then came the joys of marriage and starting a family, my greatest adventure yet. But bills don't pause, so I ventured back to the Middle East, this time Afghanistan. Living with truck drivers and army folks, managing logistics in a war zone, missing bedtime stories… Family eventually called me home for good. I found my sweet spot in the automotive industry, climbing from warehouse supervisor to centralized planning roles. These days, I focus on optimizing supply chains and materials management, where I get the bird’s eye view looking for a way to make them run smoother. Through all of it, one thread has remained constant, a fascination with technology and how it shapes our world. I’m exploring AI with both curiosity and healthy skepticism, looking for ways it can enhance supply chain management and beyond. I love connecting with people who enjoy big challenges and creative solutions. If you’re building the future of supply chains, tech, or just chasing ambitious ideas… let’s talk!
