About Marjorie Mercier

I’m very enthusiastic about working in translational medicine area. I develop assays (ex-vivo/in-vitro cultures, IHC-P, FACS panel) to identify or confirm new biomarkers to enable better design of clinical studies. I like to bring a good team spirit but can also be autonomous to achieve individual goals when necessary. Since Septembre 2021, I am Technology expert at iTeos. Spectral cytometry, IHC, project management have no secret for me. And I have started to mentor colleagues that bring me a lot in return.Waiting for new challenges! Until January 2018, I worked as Senior Research Assistant at iTeos Belgium SA in Translational Medicine. My main responsabilities were FACS panel design, staining protocol development on a 5 lasers Fortessa LSR and multiparametric analysis, matched blood/fresh tumor phenotyping and analysis but I worked on IHC-P/-F and multiplex IF (development and validation). Visiopharm analysis and development of APP for statistical analysis. Until July 2016, I worked as Research assistant at iTeos Belgium SA in Translational Medicine. Development of cellular assays, FACS panels on a 4 lasers Fortessa LSR, fresh tumor dissociation, phenotyping and analysis. Immunostaining on FFPE samples, development and validation. Visiopharm analysis. Until September 2015, RESEARCH ASSISTANT, de Duve Institute & Brussels branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in the Benoit Van den Eynde’s unit. qPCR, T-cells isolation from mouse spleen, Immunostaining on frozen mouse samples, development and validation of new staining. April 2006-Septembre 2015, LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (2006-2008) AND RESEARCH ASSISTANT (2008-2015), de Duve Institute & Brussels branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in the Nicolas Van Baren’s unit.
