For most of my career I've been engaged in program and product development in positions such as university department chair, director of product development, author, teacher and consultant in higher education and publishing. A great deal of my work has been in the field of English Language Teaching ( TESOL, ESOL, ESL ). I have been very involved with technology including courseware development and online/elearning course and program design in higher education. My most recent book, Essentials of Online Course Design, a Standards-based Guide, is a straightforward guide in the latter. I am most interested in working with publishers and universities to develop quality online projects and programs with an emphasis on good pedagogical, visual, and organizational design.
