Mark Abdelnour is an experienced electrical and communication engineer with over 10 years of experience working with companies in the telecom and construction industries. He is currently working as a Construction Project Manager at Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) in New York City, where he is responsible for defining the scope and directing work relating to emergency repairs and hazardous materials abatement. Mark is also responsible for ensuring that acceptable equipment and methodologies are used according to laws, rules, and regulations, and for monitoring vendor's performance, identifying problems, and seeking appropriate resolutions. Mark holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Communications Engineering from Obour Academy in Cairo, Egypt, and has also completed various certifications by Cooper Union Albert Nerken School of Engineering, New York, USA, including Cyber Security, Data Architecture, Java, Python, OSHA 30, AutoCAD, REVIT, Project Estimation, Building Operation Maintenance, and Safety Regulation. He is also PMP Project Management Professional and RMP Risk Management Professional certified by Project Management Institute. Mark has an extensive experience working in the telecommunications industry, as he held the position of Project Manager at Egypro East Africa LTD. in Tanzania, where he was responsible for all Telecom Projects that Egypro Has in Tanzania. He had the opportunity to work with many operators and vendors (Tigo, BOL, Airtel, Smile, Alcatel, Huawei, and Helios Towers). Mark thrives in high-pressure and challenging work environments, and enjoys being part of a team as well as managing, motivating, and training a productive team.
