Mark Adeeb is currently the Industrials Sector Head at CI Capital Holding, a leading diversified financial services group. He was the Chief Financial Officer of a pre-series A e-commerce MENA based startup. He helped the startup raise USD10+mn, execute two M&A transacrions and grow its operations to 8 segments in 4 countries. Prior to this, Adeeb was an investment professional at SS family office. Adeeb started his career at Pharos Holding (the 4th Largest Investment Bank in Egypt), held four different positions, and led the industrials team and the chemicals team. Adeeb participated in several road shows to market Egyptian assets and investments to investment management firms, private equity boutiques, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices in Africa, USA, Europe, and GCC. His publications have been featured on several TV shows, global and regional news outlets. He has also participated in several conferences as a panelist to provide insights on the industrial sector in Egypt. Adeeb helps startups to pitch their idea, access, and raise funds. He also mentors teams participating in the CFA research challenge. Adeeb is award winning author of “The Impact of Exchange Risk on Business”. Adeeb has worked on projects related to sustainability, carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS), utilities, steel, cement, fertilizers, refineries, power generation, contractors, district cooling, basic resources, f&b, FMCGs, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, textiles, automobile, hospitality, real estate, and waste to energy. Adeeb holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Misr International University (MIU) graduating with high honors and is a CFA Charterholder.
