Launched in 2016, LGFN’s online platform has grown to over 1.2 million followers worldwide.I live in Rancho Santa Margarita, California with my wife of 39 years, Cindy. We have two children—son Evan and daughter Megan—both married and also living in Orange County, California. We have been members of Saddleback Church for 30+ years. I taught the Spiritual Maturity Class for 15 years in the late 1990s and early grew up the San Francisco Bay Area (Walnut Creek) and then moved north to Chico where I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism. Later, I graduated from Pepperdine University with an MBA; and completed graduate work in Business at USC, Harvard and Stanford. I played ice hockey from age 4-14 before turning to football as a defensive back from 8th grade through college. I played competitive ice hockey as an adult.After spending the first half of my life in the marketplace as a CEO Strategist and Crisis Management leader, I joined Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California as Executive Director of the Global PEACE Plan. The common threads knitting those two experiences together are strategy, communications, and issues management.
