Hi! My name is Mark Ahern, and I lead a firm dedicated to serving the small business community through valuation, value growth, and exit planning. My roots are in commercial lending, where I worked with institutions large and small in Chicago and Denver in C&I, CRE, and floor plan financing. In 2020, I went out on my own to help owners struggling during the pandemic and fell into the world of business valuation. Working with small businesses is always exciting. I refer to small business M&A as "the Wild West" because there is a lot of activity but few resources available to small business sellers and buyers. AMP Business Valuations is heavily involved in the SBA lending space working with over 25 nationwide SBA lenders. We also do work in the areas of Gift & Estate tax, Financial Litigation (marital and business divorce), and ESOPs.
