AV system design is my specialty, ranging from simple conference rooms to complete national television networks. I was lead design engineer on most of Roscor's technical firsts including. Satellite uplink trucks (NBC KU). Virtual studios (2D and 3D). All-digital control room and studios. Remote (OB) television production trailers and trucks for both domestic and international broadcasters, some used for Olympic coverage. Complete PAL network origination facilities, including buildings, transmitter, tower/antenna, and power generation. National television networks including satellite distribution facilities and over 20 affiliate transmitter sites. This work ranged from initial site selection to final field strength studies. Network Operation Center for a statewide PBS member station. Included building remodeling, conversion to HD, and all-file-based workflow. Work performed in an existing space while normal operations continued without interruption. 2GHz microwave ENG migration from analog to digital. Managed 4 survey teams who documented existing station installations for Sprint/Nextel. Compiled and submitted reports for over 200 stations in the Midwest, including equipment lists, photographs, and flow diagrams. Specialties: AV and Broadcast project integration engineering. Custom interfaces and wiring as needed to create a system that exceeds the clients expectations. I have worked with clients possessing a varying degrees of technical knowledge, expectations, and wide range of working styles. I am able to accommodate all of them and achieve successful results.
