About Mark Aldridge
After graduating I worked in professional theatre. Two of my productions gained national media attention and I joined the agency Imagination as Creative Head. Clients included: Ford, BT, BA and the children’s museum, Eureka! As Group Creative Director at Maritz Europa I forged long term relationships with: Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Glaxo Smithkline and WMI. I joined Wolff Olins as Senior Strategic and Creative Consultant. Clients included Orange and Goldfish. As an independent Creative Director, I've conceived and delivered exhilarating communications and campaign solutions for international agencies and clients, alongside my work as a Writer/Director in theatre, film and TV. Agencies and Clients include: WRG, INVNT, People, Openreach, Lexus, GSK, Shell, BMW, The United Nations and many others. I have created broadcast TV and advertising for: The BBC, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Lion TV, Atlantic Productions and the edge. Some Highlights:2010, my feature film, Blessed (starring James Nesbitt and Natascha McElhone) released in the UK, network broadcast on the BBC & distributed internationally.2012: Strategic and Executive Creative Director for the United Nations COP 18. Creative Director, Qatar Olympic Committee - delivering Bayt Qatar in London. 2014: Deadline – the award winning culture change programme for HM Gov. 2016: Wrote and directed the Festival Stage programme at the Qasar Al Hosn Festival - creating shows that engaged over people. 2017: Scripted show sequences for Shawn Mendes' World Stadium Tour. 2018: Helped a UK agency secure the delivery of the RAF100 London celebrations (2018) and HM Gov Commonwealth Heads of Government summit (2018). My concept for the Special Olympics Opening ceremony 2019 was adopted. 2020/21: I helped a UK-based agency secure the delivery of the G7 Summit in Cornwall and COP GLASGOW.2021: Joined the team at MCI as Executive Creative Director, helping to secure significant pitch wins within the first month of joining. Recent clients include: Adobe. SLB. Ocado. Johnson & Johnson.I'm married to Mary, Dad to 4 amazing children and the nominal boss of two dogs.I have won numerous awards including Gold IVCAs, Gold ITMAs, Chicago and New York Festival gold awards.
