Background
About Mark Alstork
The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do"- Kobe Bryant Ever since I was a child; waking up every day, going to school, sports, playing instruments, and chess clubs, I thrived on becoming as successful in whatever I put my name apart of. I understood at about 9 years old that it's important to learn, listen, grow, compete and push myself to be a winner in all facets of life. I grew passionate and obsessive about not being like those around me and found my love in basketball as I grew fond of Kobe Bryant's approach/mentality. I graduated from Thurgood Marshall as an outstanding student-athlete with a cumulative GPA above 3.2 where I received over 30+ Division 1 athletic scholarships. This was an objective I made when I was in 8th grade to become a Division 1 basketball player and I sacrificed a lot to become that. I played my collegiate career at Ball State University, Wright State University, and the University Of Illinois Champaign Urbana. I graduated from Wright State University with my bachelor's in Communications, also as one of the top 5 seniors in the nation as a basketball player. I attended UIUC as a grad player pursuing my master's in Education where I played my final collegiate career. I played two years of professional basketball. One year in Luxembourg and the other in Germany. During that time I started my business ProGoalsLLC offering a variety of services that include: training, fitness, youth coaching, mentorship, trading, and investing. I'm currently a Math Specialist for the Dayton Public School District and am entering my 2nd school year. Math has always been a natural talent for me and now I get to serve others and be a knowledgeable experienced resource in various life quests. Now every day I get to "inspire to inspire" the youth to achieve above and beyond their goals.
