About Mark Anthony Gatchalian

Mark has more than 18 years of experience in risk management and internal controls, particularly in information security, IT system & process controls, and project management consulting. He is currently the Technical Audit Director of Internal Audit of the leading telecommunications company in the Philippines. He continuously deliver critical auditing and consulting services in complex and dynamic IT environments. This includes the multi-million dollar mobile network change-out, network security strategic audits, fintech operations, digital infrastructure framework, IT regionalization program, billing system migration, data privacy regulatory compliance, and identity and access controls. In 2012, he was one of the recipients of Employee of the Year award. Prior joining Internal Audit, he spent 4 years in technical operations handling various positions in information security, quality assurance and change control. In the past 3 years, he has led the digitalization efforts for the Internal Audit team, building a cloud-based analytics infrastructure and a ground-up development of the audit management system.
