About Mark Artala

I am a biotech and chemical industry professional who thrives with analyzing details and improving practices and processes with other people. I have over 15 years’ experience in international biotech and chemical industry in manager, project management and R&D roles, and six years of management experience. In my roles I have worked with various stakeholders ranging from customers and raw material suppliers to production and procurement. As a Project and R&D Manager I am used to solving difficult issues under changing deadlines and priorities. I have led a 15-person R&D team and coordinated 3 laboratories’ R&D work on group level in Finland, Poland and Russia. Currently I work as a Digital R&D Product Manager at Novonesis. I am an eager professional with a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry and Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. As an employee I am hands-on, driven and precise. As a colleague I am considerate, helpful and a true team player. I am a fast learner and always curious to learn how things work and how they could be improved.
