About Mark Badiola

I am a generalist with more than a decade of experience in the IT industry. I am passionate about building products and businesses for better living. I have helped establish a number of startups since 2014 taking on both technical and functional roles. Recently, I functioned as head of digital engineering and did tech consulting, product management, project management, service delivery, and pre-sales and sales enablement alongside run-the-business tasks. I reported directly to the CEO and collaborated with marketing in defining and putting our services on to the market. I started my career as a software engineer and eventually rose into different roles. At 24, I was triple hatting as senior software developer, business analyst, and IT project manager. At 28, I was appointed to an executive role. Alongside of that I also functioned as a marketing director for the country's leading tech-enabled nonprofit, iVolunteer Philippines. While I have always been confident of my capability to pick up technologies (I used to learn entire frameworks literally overnight), I have learned over time that my most valuable ability is being able to grasp any concept and build something out of them. This allows me to understand every role and bring people together to achieve ambitious goals. I am always on the lookout for new adventures. My personal mission statement is to be the adventurer that I have always been and leave every place, every life better than before.
