About Mark Bampton

Combining my product specialism and pharmacy training puts me in a very strong position to work alongside clinicians and NHS Trust managers, demonstrating products while understanding how they will benefit specific clinical environments. I recently transitioned from the role of a Clinical Applications Specialist to my current position as a QA Specialist. In my current role, I focus on ensuring the quality and efficacy of healthcare solutions as a QA Specialist. Previously, I served as a client-facing expert for a market leader in electronic patient record systems and software used in secondary care. My responsibilities included staying up to date with cutting-edge technologies, market trends, and healthcare rollouts. I navigated through various phases of new service development, onboarded customers to both new and existing services, and supported them during internal changes that required them to retest their use of an existing service. Recognised as someone with a collaborative and clinically-led, not sales, approach, I have completed the Edward Jenner Programme, for those seen to be health and care aspiring leaders. As a qualified senior pharmacy technician with over 10 years in that discipline, I am comfortable in highly regulated environments where stakeholder engagement is time-poor, so product demonstrations must be polished, concise and accurate. An expert in electronic medicines management (eMM), ePMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration), and other e-Prescribing modules, I work with Trusts on digitising records. A member of the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT and Association of Pharmacy Technicians. As I continue to excel in my current role, I remain dedicated to leveraging my diverse skill set to ensure the quality and efficacy of healthcare solutions for clinicians and patients alike.
