In his role at Lendlease, Mark was responsible for managing a large group of Control Systems Engineers (once the largest in Brisbane), directing their day to day activities, ensuring high quality output, quoting new works and discovering opportunity. The team developed process automation solutions, desktop and web based applications, and designed network and security solutions for projects ranging from to $billions. In 2010, Mark formed Aktura Technology with his good friend and all round genius James Rose. Together, they designed and built a range of Software for Internet Marketers. In 2013, the company changed direction and began developing software for small businesses. This has now grown and the company employs a diverse range of software developers, graphical designers, website developers and SEO experts. The business now specialises in bespoke cloud based software and high quality websites for small to medium sized businesses.
