About Mark Bergevin

I provide you person centred care that works toward small achievable goals and the betterment of everyone, as well as dedicating myself toward improving the well-being and health of the people we serve. I believe that psychosocial rehabilitation is the keystone of competent, quality care. I place great importance in ensuring that the philosophy of care such as trauma informed practice will follow the principles of the Mental Health Act in a culturally competent way. I quite proudly admit that I personally lived and experienced most of the issues faced by vulnerably housed people and the support needs of those folks with low incomes and those that suffer from a mental illness.Trauma informed care and the PSR philosophy are both terrific philosophies, apart and together. I always ensure that the emotional, cognitive, and social skills are focused on every day that I work. I have an excellent understanding of the trials and tribulations of today’s marginalized citizens. I quite proudly say that I have a personal connection with today's underserved, I was one. I have a lived experience in common with most of Victoria's unfortunate citizens.
