About Mark Berry

I am a Chartered Accountant and CFO with over 20 years of business experience. Prior to joining RM plc, I was CFO at FTSE listed London estate agent Foxtons Group plc. I am very proud of what we achieved at Foxtons. I left the business with a leaner, more flexible infrastructure having instigated a number of changes which enabled the business to prioritise investments in its people and premium product offering. Foxtons is a fantastic business led by a great management team which is well placed to enjoy a very successful future. Prior to Foxtons I held a number of senior finance roles at FTSE-250 recruiter Hays plc. These included five years as Group Financial Controller and Deputy Group FD, within which I was also responsible for the North America business. This was preceded by five years as European & Americas FD, a role in which I was responsible for the finance infrastructure across 20 countries in a business with 2,500 employees and in which I played a key role in creating and growing what is now the Group's largest division. I have a clear track record of building strong working relationships quickly, and of building and developing diverse teams in the UK and across Europe. My ACA and my early career in M&A instilled a focus on diligence, and together with my passion for the delivery of tangible commercial results I have been able to build a strong reputation as a business oriented, knowledgeable & valuable business partner. I enjoy engaging with people all around the business and have a reputation for quality, integrity, and credibility at Board level. Beyond my professional career, I enjoy travel and playing and watching sport. I am an FA qualified coach to an U15s football team and a former infant school governor.
