About Mark Bina

My background comprises embedded systems integrating hardware and firmware. I am experienced in all phases of product development. I enjoy working with customers, internal or external; to achieve mutual understandings of need, then analyze and translate those needs into engineering requirements and technical specifications. I am experienced in various approaches for implementing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and for project planning. I take an Object-Oriented approach to component design, but a more holistic approach to the overall system architecture. I am a proponent of Use Cases, to the extent that they evoke consideration of design details that might otherwise be missed. I appreciate thorough and consistent project planning and documentation, e.g. requirements and design specifications. I also enjoy working with the team to develop and refine policies and practices effecting design and design documentation.
