About Mark Boyd

I am a recent graduate from The Ohio State University, earning my degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Business. I earned my BA degree with a passion for creating innovative and functional designs that improve user experience. I have learned and applied various design principles, methods, and tools, such as sketching, prototyping, testing, and 3D modeling. I have also participated in several design projects and workshops, where I demonstrated my creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. My goal is to become a professional industrial designer who can contribute to the advancement of the design industry and society. In my role as an Operations Assistant with the Columbus Crew, I have been able to work in a fast paced and diverse role. Creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for fans, visiting teams and staff, as well as the Crew. Assisting in various tasks such as game day activations, and stadium winterization. I have had the opportunity to take part in various events such as Leagues Cup, as well as hosting European sides such as Manchester City, Chelsea and Aston Villa. In my role as a satellite facility manager at the Ohio State University (OSU), I assist patrons, delegate tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of the satellite facilities. I have successfully handled multiple projects and challenges, such as coordinating the installation of new equipment, resolving technical issues, and improving customer satisfaction.
