Over 25 years in the heavy civil and military aircraft maintenance industry, initially hangar based as an electrical / avionics technician,carrying out maintenance and modifications, diversifying into task scheduling of modifications, and eight years provision of technical support to military and civil twin seat aerobatic trainer aircraft (Slingsby T67 Firefly)and sailplanes (RAF Air Cadet Grob T1 aka T69 Viking) Currently providing technical support for Lockheed C-130 H and C-130J military transport aircraft for a variety of customers, and a UK military operated historic Dakota C-47. Every day provides its own variety of challenges, from monitoring third party vendors' service information, trawling design data archives, confirming alternative part approval, inter departmental liaison, researching new products to satisfy customer requests. Report writing, problem solving, spreadsheet construction and updating, budget monitoring, no two days are the same. As confident at the keyboard as I am liaising face to face with customers and engineers. I believe that I have that “Can do” attitude meaning that I can be trusted to put everything into finding the solution to the problem.
