At Piezo Motion Corp I have been leading a sales and technical team of international engineers and scientists in the development and commercialization of novel piezoelectric motors and associated technologies. This patented technology replaces traditional small-size precision rotary and linear motors and actuators in many applications. We focused our designs on modern lower cost production methodology utilizing engineering polymers, which enabled a scalable durable and economical product range very suitable for equipment and high volume OEM applications. The product line has evolved into some 50 different SKUs that differ in size and output specification and includes models that are completely non-magnetic and suitable for use within medical MRI. The precision and energy efficiency of our piezomotors has enabled the company to establish key partnerships around the world in exciting and diverse fields such as robotic surgery, drones/UAV, drug dispensers, infusion/syringe pumps and many applications within optics/photonics. Most recently, we have successfully established our own in-house manufacturing and testing facilities (Sarasota, Florida) from where we collaborate with startups, OEMs, research institutions and industrial companies across the globe. My background as a senior business executive includes extensive experience of international executive management roles in operations, research and development, business development, personnel management, sales and marketing in major international life science and hi-tech organizations.
