Having retired from Mars in July 2024, I am now enjoying focusing on life outside of the corporate world for at least a year or two so not actively looking for a new role. Therefore I have switched off LinkedIn notifications for the time being although I do check in on a periodic basis.Experienced Factory Planner & Scheduler with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry in a variety of operational roles and now moved into line management and Planning lead for an expanding Logistics team. Skilled in Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Leadership, and Project Management.Achievements include.Managing biggest change to site logistics in last 30 years with implementation and embedding of new packaging warehouse, new factory clearance operation and new material delivery processes following closure of local warehouse. This was all achieved while there was no Site Logistics Manager in place during transition and with minimal impact to site operations. Key role in design, testing and implementation of new software process for material inbound area.Winner of Mars UK 'Make The Difference' award and represented the site at the European awards as a result of improvement project that brought major efficiency savings to in line conversion process.Former chair of site involvement team during period of restructure ensuring full site engagement in process as well as supporting other sites across the business in the development of their teams.Site representative for European network supply forum with an excellent ability to deal with all levels of business. Key in driving change of process within the forum to make more efficient and accountable.
