Mark Brooks is a writer, director and musician born in Denver, Colorado. After spending years recording and touring in underground bands, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in film and television. Credits include writing/directing/starring in the feature film Lil’ Pimp (Bernie Mac, William Shatner), directing The Slim Shady Show (Eminem), writing/directing Metalocalypse (Adult Swim) and directing the Marvel animated series Black Panther, Moonbeam City (Rob Lowe) as well as the VR music experience, Show It 2 Me, with his goth pop band Night Club providing the soundtracks. Brooks was also supervising director on two Amazon Original series, the Emmy award-winning Little Big Awesome and The New V.I.P.’s. He has also directed numerous music videos for bands such as Slayer, Danzig, Melvins and Dethklok.
