About Mark Browning

As a Senior Manager and Business Advisor with MNP’s Private Enterprise team, I provide business advisory services and assurance services, specializing in audit and review engagements. I use my knowledge from working in public practice for over 10 years to develop solutions for my clients, so they are structured for continued growth and success, as well as meet their compliance requirements. During my career I have worked with clients in a wide variety of industries including real estate, construction, manufacturing, software, food processing, professional services, retail, not-for-profit, and financial services. I stay current on changes in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), as well as Canadian taxation regulations by attending many professional update courses each year. Prior to my career in public accounting, I worked in the investment banking business and was involved in the development of various investment funds. I left investment banking to pursue my CA designation as I enjoy working with small and midsize businesses and being a part of their growth. Outside of work on evenings and weekends I enjoy hitting the ice to play hockey with friends and colleagues. I am always interested in learning about my client’s business and view myself as part of their team.
